I'm currently teaching LING 370/ANTHCUL 370, Language and Discrimination, at the University of Michigan

This summer, I'm delighted to co-teach with Elaine Francis at the LSA Summer Institute at UC Davis. Our class is listed as "Experimental Syntax", but we're calling it "Acceptability judgments in syntax: theoretical interpretation and experimentation outside the lab" [course description] .

At UC San Diego, I taught LIGN 8: Languages and Culture of America. This course fulfills a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion requirement at UC San Diego, and along with a brief intro to Linguistics, it covers the ways in which language is used as a tool to construct and dismantle identity at the individual and societal level [syllabus].
